Been away, but stayed on weight loss track

Published by heatherleigh73 at 6:34 pm under Day-to-day Edit This

It has been a couple of dys since I posted here. I have to admit it, we were away, over-indulging ourselves at the Walt Disney World Resorts. I know, so much for my diet. I thought the same thing. But I do have to admit that Disney World makes it easier than I thought to stay on my weight loss track.

At first when my husband suggested we go to the Walt Disney World Resorts for Mother’s Day, I thought he was nuts. He knows I am trying to loose weight and get back into shape. But it was my Mother’s Day present, so I could not say no, even though I thought “this is no Mother’s Day gift, this is a diet’s nightmare.” Especially with eating out all weekend long and no where really to exercise. I knew my diet was doomed. I was beginning to look like my May 1 resolution lasted as long as my New Year’s resolution.

However, I could not be any more wrong.  Disney World actually makes it easy to stick to any weight loss plan. menus have been revamped and there are even healthy dessert options. Plus, all the walking through the hot and sweaty theme parks, I am sure to have lost some water weight.

Though I did not write a daily blog on line, I did keep my journal so I could update once I returned home. I will be posting my three blogs from this weekend over the next couple of days. That is in addition to what I have vowed to write daily as part of my May 1 resolution.

Oh, btw, though I did not loose any weight, the upside is, I didn’t gain any this weekend either!

Happy dieting!
